I just bought a JVC KW-V840BT to replace my original factory radio system in my S430. I didn’t realize the analog/digital difference between the aftermarket system and the original one.
The install technician told me that he’d have to hardwire the JVC radio to the car to bypass the original digital amplifier. He didn’t say anything about replacing the speakers. Does your upgrade module do the same thing as hardwiring? Is one approach better than the other? Also, is there somewhere where I can just get a replacement digital audio system to just plug into the MOST system to swap out the original one?
