Intel E210882 Harakteristiki

The Dell E210882 motherboard is an ATX form factor board. The board can support Intel Pentium 4 processors with internal speeds of 2.8, 3.0, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6.

Excellent motherboard replacement for a Dell Dimension 3000 computer! I purchased this board to replace a defective motherboard in a Dell Dimension 3000 computer that had Windows XP Home Edition installed on it.

It has essentially the same chipset and Intel socket as the original motherboard, but it is somewhat longer than the original. I searched for and found the appropriate drivers for this motherboard from Dell's support site and created a driver disk with them. This motherboard turned out to be a suitable replacement for the original motherboard and works very well, despite the fact that it was pulled from a Dell Optiplex 170L machine. Also, the socket for this board is actually a Socket 478, not an LGA775 as the title implies, but I knew this as I examined the photos on the eBay listing before making the purchase, so no harm done there.

Pdf2cad v10. I have a Dimension B110* (1100) with the E210882 motherboard. The BIOS revision is A01.

Searching the forums reveals this same board has been used in various other Dell systems, and that there are BIOS revisions as high as A09. The reason I want to update the BIOS is Dell hasn't released any driver updates for the B110/1100 since 2005 and newer 'generic' ones for the chipset, onboard video and sound etc will not install.

Are there newer driver releases for any other Dell system with this board and a newer BIOS? I don't care about not being able to reinstall the Windows XP Home it came with, the very first thing I did after verifying the system wasn't DOOBE (Dead Out Of Box Experience) was wiped the drive to install a retail copy of XP Pro. *I got the upgrade package with 100+ gig drive, 512M RAM, speakers, 15' LCD and DVD burner. All great except the Hitachi/LG burner, which is a CPU time hog and won't recognize blank SONY CD-Rs.
